Today was a day. An interesting day. Please, join me in my little story as I detail my day.
I woke up at 7-something this morning in order to finish up reading about the history of France (and how they managed to cram that into a few short pages is beyond me...the Revolution only got two lines of text...). I had a bowl of cereal and Motley crashed into the bowl and dumped milk all over Erin's socks. I left the house after writing a check for $400 while musing about how badly I need to do laundry. They had already begun paving the lot when I went out of the house this morning so the acrid smell of tar filled my lungs as I sauntered down the walk.
In my second class of the day, Martine was in too much pain to teach and the class lasted 15 minutes...much to our relief. I then went to DSU and got a money order...then I bought some fries and some orange pop for lunch. I sat out on the porch of DSU because it was perfect out today...but the breeze kept insisting that my papers and fries belonged on the ground.
A short walk to the College of Music and I was sitting on my favourite couch, decyphering my way through a piece of Francophone literature. Two paragraphs later, Daniel joins me after completion of a test on notes and symbols and much hilarity insues. Geoff joined us shortly thereafter and we talked of parking lots.
16th note runs are the bane of my existance.
In French lit, I managed to tip over my chair and land underneath it, laughing like a crazy person. Apparently, sentier=someone with the ability to smell. *giggles* (psssst...sentier = path).
Upon arrival home, a house completely unguarded. There will be a discussion about this later on tonight.
Ensuite...the executive board of the French club is coming over tonight for dinner and we shall discuss pressing matters and pretend for awhile that we are indeed important.
That's all. I'm sure that story was more fun for me than it was for you...but that's okay...it was meant for me anyway.
Ciao.
