(no subject)
Well, FWA was.... Interesting. I missed a day due to work, so I had saturday and sunday. It felt a bit strange...I found myself really missing the old FWA gang. Thankfully, there were a few people there who I knew, and I DID have an ok time. Missed out on the poker game, I got there too late for the first 2 games I didn't survive the third preliminary. It was still fun though, we had a good table. We ate at some really good places. That greek place across from the hotel, the diner for lunch, and the chinese place and the Hard Rock for dinners. Good food, all around.
The dealer's den was slow though...and while Peaches and Las stayed there most of the time, I wandered about. I don't know...Maybe it was because I had too much to worry about...It just didn't feel like it had in previous years for me. *shrugs* Kind of like this posting...sort of all over the map with no real point being made. Not in any way FWA's fault...They ALWAYS do a great con.... I guess I just wasn't prepared in spirit for it.
