This is Gracie. She was born around June 2007 under the house next to my parents' house. She was born wild and any of her siblings that still survive are feral. However, around December 2007, Gracie started living on the front porch. She stopped running away when we crossed it and we started to feed her. She progressively worked us until we took her to the vet and put her in the garage. We got her vaccinated and spayed. Putter, my parents' cat and the most anti-other-cat I've ever seen, decided to accept Gracie's presence but Baby, my cat, never would. So Gracie stayed at my parents' house when I moved out in summer 2008.

Gracie is the MOST affectionate cat and you'd never know she was ever wild. She didn't know what do to with toys at first, but she learned. She still doesn't know what to do with people-food, which means she doesn't beg for it. I brought her home last weekend and she's stationed herself in my bedroom and is cautiously learning to adapt to the rest of the house. She is so silly that she hissed at the living room and turned tail and ran back under the bed. Hope she gets over it soon!
