The War.

"I know what I’m about to say is not going to be a popular thing. Hmmm, I never thought of compairing this war with what happened with the Native Americans. I don't believe we are forcing our way of life on them either. I mean, as far as I know we are simply trying to give them enough of a head start to form their OWN government. We want to get them back on their feet so they can start deciding as a country (and yes, hopefully that means the people can have a say) what they want to do. As of now, all they have is no government and a bunch of radical islamic groups that want to kill people. If we left them with simply that, can you imagine the outcome?

I'm not saying I support the initial start of this whole thing (not that some sort of change over there wasn't needed, just, who's job is it to change?), but now that we're over there, and a vital part of this transformation, we can't just jerk out of there with empty promises and so many lives on the line. It would be horrible. We've got to stick this out with them. It doesn't all switch to love and peace because we pull out.

Killing is never good. It is NEVER good. But this is war...weather or not it SHOULD be war I don't know, but it is. God save us it is. Let's just hope we are on the right side and still fighting for the RIGHT thing in the end, ehh?
