do you know the story behind it? i'll tell you anyway cuz i want to. The um..guitarist? i dont even know his name, the older guy. anyway, right after his son Benjamin was born, his dad who was a few floors behind them in the same hospital was diagnosed with cancer and died a few months later. sadddd

The reason I even really started listening to this song is because my friend said, "Can you figure this song out? There has to be a story behind it." I couldn't because I was just going by the lyrics but NOW i KNOW so I can tell her. Thanks so much, that's so sad. I can't even imagine what that day would be like. You are gaining and losing so much at the same time.
