My cousin and I wrote this poem
in memory of 2 of our friends
who drowned in a canal 2 years
ago. They were known as James
and Jamar Maxwell also known
as the Maxwell Brothers. Rest
in Peace Maxwell Brothers.
Everybody knew them, known by
everyone at school; Love is what
you saw in their eyes,
Good grades, a helping hand, a
blessing in disguise. They were
the most loving brothers everyone
has ever known.
On that fateful day, why did two
boys drown everyone is shedding
tears.
A canal under current they were
lost, trying to save each other,
they lived together, they died
together, now together on heavens
shore. Brave young heroes were they
in a world gone cold;
God has brought two young souls back
to heavens home. There will always be
two guardian angels watching over us
on the clouds of heaven.
They will be miss by everyone they
have loved family and friends everyone
they cared for. And forever they will
be together in our hearts.
