So, "wedding season 2009" kicks off tomorrow with the first of my old Uni friends who are getting married this year. It seems a little like I started a trend a few years back...
I'm looking forward to seeing all these people again, but it's made me reflect on how we've all changed in the last ten years - or not, in some cases. (...and my God, is it *really* ten years since I graduated?)
I hope people think that I've changed. I certainly feel like a different person these days, more together, more settled, more balanced, more, ahem... mature?
One things for sure, I'm certainly happier now. And, for me, marriage has had a lot to do with that. It may not work for everyone, but for me, and hopefully my old friends who are tying the knot, it will!

P.S. This blog post was posted using Ping.fm, which will hopefully be my new way of defeating the lethargy I have around updating my many different social networks. It works by cross-posting my status and blog entries to lots of sites at once.
So, if this goes to plan, people will hopefully be seeing more of this ;) For example, this blog entry should end up on both LJ and FB!
