To say that Rock was in a particularly foul mood because of a certain Hollow would be an understatement. Even after cooling down a bit by going out for a ride, he was still furious over what Shiro had said to him- especially pertaining to what he knew about the nightmare that had been broadcasted onto his journal earlier that week

So close...but stopped by a pack of sentimental fools.
To say that the Hollow was vindictive would be too specific a definition for whatever passed for thought in it's cold, mad mind.
It would suffice, though, as a fair facsimile.
And so, here he was again. This time, he had simply searched until he caught the familiar scent of the blond boy, and then followed the trail back to an apartment complex.
There, he crouched, waiting midair before the assortment of doorways, and saw the boy step out rubbing at the shoulder that the Hollow remembered wounding the last time.
"Awww...pity, I wanted to see how pretty your scar is going to be~."
Reply
"Sorry, but I don't think scars are gonna help me out."

Almost conversational, now, if it weren't for the lilting madness in his cold eyes, or the mockery in his voice.
"Oh? I thought scars showed just how much you survive....or something equally as ridiculous."
Reply
"What the hell do you want here, besides annoying the hell out of me."
Reply
"Oh, just to satisfy a bit of...mmm...curiosity."
A mad grin, then.
"I'm wondering...how similar is your reiatsu to daddy dearests?"
Reply
"I don't know, I never made it a point to find out," he said finally, waiting, he knew that being reckless would get himself killed. His shoulder was reminder enough of that.
Reply
"Oh? I'd think with your daddy inside your head, there would be quite a similarity...kind of like that move you used on me...what's it called?"
Oh yes, Shiro was trying to goad Rock into attacking. Granted, it wasn't really the Hollow's style, but with this damned collar? It was necessary.
A collar that, probably was all too visible against the bone white skin, and shihakushou, being the shining, livid, only spot of color on him aside from his golden eyes.

Luckily, Geese's influence hadn't been particularly strong since the nightmare, which made it easier for Rock to at least attempt to keep a clear head...which was getting harder because of everything that the damn Hollow was saying anyway.
His red eyes flickered to Shiro's throat for a moment, mouthing "what the..." before he grinned. "...control collar? Nice touch."

Golden eyes rolled in exasperation.
"Nn. Like it? I'm sure you could go begging to defunct goddesses for something similar."
He peered up at Rock, then, from beneath white bangs.
"...But if you think it 'controls' anything, you're a lot dumber than you look."

"Oh? I'd think you'd want something like it to keep pops in line."
Feigning disinterest, the Hollow looked away out towards the other apartments, but was aware of every single move Rock made.
That energy! It felt so odd...but so strong, too, that the Hollow's mouth fairly watered with want to consume it.
"...You know? Make you safe for the public~."

Shit.
It was getting harder to keep himself from attacking, but he had to. That's just what they wanted, right? Goad him into fighting so that he would make a stupid mistake. He shook his head again, taking a deep breath. His entire body was tense, he was itching for a fight, as much as he didn't want to say so. But he knew, his instinct was calling for him to fight, to go after this threat.
And it was with that thought that Rock started to move, rushing forward before he suddenly vanished, reappearing behind Shiro to smack him away with a roundhouse kick.

Counting on the thought that Rock would try to come from behind once the Hollow saw him vanish, Shiro dropped down from his seemingly lazy midair crouch, the kick clipped his white Zangetsu's hilt, however, and snagged the Hollow to the side--
But he promptly vanished with a flex of reiatsu, reappearing from above; the cleaver-like blade unwrapped, and striking downward in a two-handed grip aimed to slash Rock across the back.

It was at this point that he realized his opponent's energy had shifted upward again. Rock twisted his body around, forcing himself to face his opponent before reaching toward the white blade to smack it away, spinning his leg around again to counter. This was a modified version of one of Terry's moves- the new version was something that he liked calling the Crack Counter.

Skidding to a halt, midair, 'Shiro' grinned...then swung his white Zangetsu up, then immediately pointed it out straight at Rock; the black wrappings coiling around his arm, seemingly of their own accord.
"Ban...kai!"
A surge of red-edged white reiatsu flared up, obscuring the Hollow for a few moments.
...But when the dense energy cleared, the Hollow had disappeared again.
In a flash, the now slender white blade of Tensa Zangetsu was rushing at Rock's chest, the hollow cackling like a mad thing.

Even if he hadn't seen it coming right away, his body at least somewhat remembered, because his instincts were screaming at him to get the fuck out of dodge before he was sliced to ribbons. "Not gonna happen." He dived off to the side, rolling back onto his feet before swinging both fists up, charging them with energy before sending the wave straight at the mad creature. "REPPUKEN!"
