so, I need to submit my schedule for spring classes, and I don´t know what to choose!
I know for certain that I am going to take Entomology and Statistics for the Life Sciences, and meditation as my PE (heh...I´m such a slacker), but as for my third class, three things are competing for attention:
Introduction to Hispanic Literature
Gen Psych
and Intro to Creative Writing.
Of course, I would rather take The Social Context of Sexual Behavior, as it would be my third anthro class (thus sending me closer to a minor), but it´s at the same time as my Entomology lab. Boohiss.
So here´s my thought processes:
Hispanic Lit would be good for practicing Spanish, and would give me a third class towards a Spanish minor. That being said, Statistics and Entomology are going to be time consuming, hard classes, and I definitely want something I´ll have fun with. I have liked Spanish professors at K, but the classes themselves are somewhat dry and very work intensive. I don´t want to explode when I get back to K. So then I thought about Gen Psych, since I like psych a lot and tend to work harder at things I am interested in. But psych would also require a lot of work, whereas I bet Intro to Creative Writing would not. I mean, hell, I love creative writing. And mom, in case you´re curious, it isn´t taught by Gail or Di. It´s by some woman named Donna Ephland. I think, out of the three, it would probably be the most different from my bio and math courses, which would be a really nice break.
So basically, I would like to take Creative Writing the most out of all of the classes, BUT I don´t know if it would be stupid to not take a Spanish class.
thoughts?
