Suddenly realized I still haven´t updated all of you on the results of the second and final round of elections here in Ecuador. So, Correa won by at least 10%, which made ME breathe a sigh of relief because I would have felt uneasy living in a country whose president looks like Oswald Cobblepot (ok, twos and twos of you will get that, so let me translate to non-comicgeek: the Penguin.)

Other fun fact on Noboa: he got his fortune from his father, which I told you before, based on bananas. What I hadn`t known was that Noboa utterly ho-ed his siblings by rendering his dad´s will ineffective -- he declared his father mentally incapacitated. Then swiped all the cash.
