Apocalypse
So I went out last night to go see Resident Evil: Apocalypse. It was decent. I was entertained for the full length of the movie. I’m glad with how this story is rooted into the resident evil story. The characters looked like those from the games. There were a lot of mobs from the games like the mutant Dobermans, the licker, and nemesis. But what I like the most was that the movie took those aspects and created a supplement to the games. It wasn’t a retelling of the game story line; it was expanding the resident evil universe. I liked what they did to Alice. And it leaves the movie story open for another sequel which you find out that the ending is set for a third (I hope the movie does well so they make the third. I want to see where they take it.)
Ever since the days of the first resident evil back when the PS1 was out and popular, I’ve always loved the Umbrella Corp. the more I learn more about the Umbrella company the cooler I think it is, as a bad “guy”. I want to get the umbrella logo and put it on my book bag and see who would recognize it.
I recommend everyone to go see it, videogame fan or not. If you aren’t a videogame fan, this movie is a great action flick, and if you are a game fan, then come see another game come to life.
