The pitfalls of puppy training

Oh man... this ain't good. I think the dog just chewed up Ryuhou's boots. I dunno much about dogs, but that can't of been very good for him. Hope he'll be okay...

Finally thought of a name for him. Decided to call him JR. It's short for Jolly Roger, 'cause of that patch over his eye. Makes him look kinda like a pirate ( Read more... )

ryuhou, ryuhou's gonna kill us both, boots, damn i'm in trouble again, jr

Uhh... yeah, sorry... I'm getting you another pair.

It's all right, you don't have to. Puppies are like that.

I want to. Hn. Yeah... apparently they also like your side of the bed...

Oh...? How so?

Well... that's where he keeps trying to sleep...

Ah... heh. I thought you meant something worse.

Well, as long as he doesn't take over...

Huh? Uhh... no, nothing like that.

Well, I'm trying to get him to sleep in his own bed--'cause, frankly, I like sleeping with you a lot better. Heh...

Mm, same here. You don't drool quite as much.

So... you know my boots size, or should I just go get them myself?

...Hn. Thanks a lot. Maybe I'll go sleep in the damn dog bed.

Hm. I can just give you the money, and you can go pick 'em out yourself, if you want.

Heh, that might be amusing to see you try. *smiles* But I still think I prefer you to the dog.

...though at this rate, we'll be pushed out of the bed by the animals. Killer still tries to sneak up in between us at night, have you noticed?

That's fine, unless you'd like to go with me to get them. You've got enough money, right?

Hn. Well, that's good to hear, anyway.

Yeah, how could I miss that--especially with him ending up draped over my head in the morning.

Sure, I'll go with you, if you want--and I got more than enough money.

...and with you draped over me in the morning, we're just all one big happy family, right?

It almost seems we don't have enough to spend our money on right now. I wonder if we can save up enough to buy a house sometime, if one ever goes on sale. Or we could try to buy the materials to build our own.

Well, it's your own fault for being so damn...uhh... drapable. Heh.

Yeah, I know what you mean. We don't gotta pay rent or buy food or nothing. Only thing I really have to spend money on is the pets.

Huh. Yeah, that's a good idea. I think I'd rather buy one than build one, though. How much d'you think one would cost?

Same here. We could probably stand to buy a few more clothes for the winter, maybe some coats. Have you put any of your money in the bank?

I'm not sure. I don't recall seeing any for sale yet, and I don't even know how much a house would cost back home. Maybe we can start asking around, though.

Bank? Uhh... no, I didn't even know they had one here. I just been tossing it all in my sock drawer.

Yeah, me neither. From the little I can remember, most people back home seemed to live in abandoned buildings or shacks they threw together. But yeah, we'll keep an eye out; maybe something'll turn up.
