Daciana sat on a swing hanging from a tree on the edge of the lake. The wind was blowing, the rain was barely falling, more like creating a misty fog across the waters and the grounds. She swung back and forth, gently, slowly, staring out across the dark and grey waters of the lake.
Her hair blew in the wind and today she was not wearing the usual uniform, but rather dressed in pale green sundress of sorts, the hem falling to hit her at just below the knees, leaving her arms bare as the sleeves rustled about in the wind.
Her hands clutched the rope of the swing, steadying her there as she swayed on the swing, watching the lake, thinking, drifting in and out of reality.
She hadn't thought it would be like this, be so hard, be such a change. Who was she? She didn't know anymore, and truth be told, she wasn't sure if she ever knew.
She was a little girl lost once more, left alone with her
day dreams, waiting for a way home.
