surgeries bite
Surgeries bite. I had bunion surgery on Friday (yes, I do have bunions). The surgery went fine...I was in pain off and on, but thats expected. Then on Saturday I woke up around 5:30am to go to the bathroom and passed out...not once, not twice, but three times! My parents were there trying to help me get into my bed when I passed out the last two times. They took me to the hospital because when I passed out the first time I banged up my hand pretty bad and it looked like it was broken. Thankfully it wasn't...just badly bruised so I have to wear an ace bandage for a couple days. They kept me in the hospital for 3 hours because I was dehydrated, hence why I passed out 3 times. They gave me one and a half iv's and made me eat some yucky hospital food before I could go home. When I finally got home I got sick, but refused to go back to the hospital. My mom let me go up to my room where I proceeded to sleep for the rest of the day. Today my mom made me go downstairs for a few hours, so I pretty much just layed around down there....same as I would've down in my room but it made her happy. The bruise on my hand seems to have spread all the way down to my wrist and is still a pretty nasty blue color and swollen. I swear, can anything else go wrong?? See Alli, I knew I shouldnt have gotten this surgery...remember me saying the Thurs. night?? Lol. And the worst part is, the surgery was on my left foot and the big nasty bruise is on my left hand! Just my luck, huh? I'm dying to get back to work though. It's pretty sad, but I'm that bored!! I'm even going to do my h/w for my summer class, which ends on Thursday-Thank God!!!
