My 7761 phone line went psycho and started calling people repeatedly again. This time, the two numbers of choice were my boss, and the peanut butter girl (double bad). I called Verizon and demanded that something be done. Last time was while I had my Venus, this time I have a Blackberry so I know it's not my phone. They suggested the normal stuff (*221 to update roaming, hard reset) and I informed them that I had already tried it all. The Data support lady ended up deleting me from my account, then re-adding me. So far it is working.
She said if it happens again, they might have to change my number. I say if it happens again, they can just delete that account and not charge me an early termination fee. Then, my remaining line will be out of contract within the next few months. This, of course is wishful thinking that I could get to drink the iPhone koolaid... :-P
Somehow, I have a feeling I'll just be staying with Verizon.
