My Character Questionaire --> Me

Mar 21, 2010 02:17

Name: Rebekah (Becky)

  1. How are you?

I am okayàIt’s 10am and I have a cold so I am bit tired. I am really a night person this day-schedule stuff isn’t working out for me.

  1. Who are you?

I am a 27 year-old weird writer who enjoys a good conflict, twists, darkness, and horror. I especially enjoy vampires (but not Twilight. . . they are not real vampires.)

I am short and curvy with bottom-of-the-Lake blue eyes, and red and black hair. I am fun, considerate, and I am someone who always tries to help whenever I can. I usually put others before myself and I have a great imagination.

  1. What is your family like? Friends?

My parents are split and looking at them, they complete opposite: My mom is down to earth and open to different things while my father is a pretty closed off conservative religious control-freak. My step-mother is a mindless pawn between the church and my father.

I have three brothers: 26 year old is a stubborn case that you just have let him do his own thing or you’ll be blue and red in the face arguing with him. 15 and 11 year olds are so isolated in their so religious home that the real world is going eat them alive.

I have a great boyfriend Tom, who, for some reason, is more patient and understanding with me than I am with myself. We have had a rocky road, but we currently are doing really well. We are in an open relationship, because being exclusive and marriage makes me feel claustrophobic and I freak out.

I don’t have that many friends outside of the Internet: most of them are men as I always seem to find the selfish females who are into drama. I mean I do have a few female friends, but they are really rare in my life. I love my online friends: Thank you so much for being so open, honest, encouraging, and supporting. I appreciate all of the feedback on my blogs and writings.

  1. If you had three wishes what would you wish for and why? (By the way, no wishing for all the money in the world and no wishing for more wishes.)
    1. I would want to win at least 12 million from the Mega Millions so Tom and I can help others.
    2. I want my writings published and an album or two recorded of my own music.
    3. I want to travel all over the world with Tom.

  1. What is a typical day for you?

11am-12pm I wake up, shower, check e-mail, eat something, get some soda (Caffeine)

12pm-5pm I usually get errands done, writing done, computer time or cleaning

5pm-7pm I would usually make and eat dinner.

7pm-8pm I watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy with Tom. . . we like to be a little competitive: it’s all in fun.

8pm-4am Tom and I will watch movies, some days I get computer time while Tom is watching wrestling; we’ll have friends over, we’ll have fun (wink-wink)

4am-11am If I am lucky, I would sleep.

10 years-I will have my entire novel series completed and published. I will be in LA working with a screen writing crew and a director on my book to movie deal.

  1. Who has been your biggest influence in your life?

Wow, I have had so many influences: Mrs. Pollack, Mr. G, and Mark Justice inspired me to have a love for writing. Ms Yearly, Mr. Davis, and the band Hanson inspired me to have a love for music and harmony. Tom is the inspiration for the love of life and allowing me to be myself. My mom has been a great support as well.

  1. What is your biggest flaw?

My biggest flaws are being easily distracted, and horrible grammar & spelling. I also have a hard time finishing things.

  1. What makes you happy? Listening to a good song, finishing a project, making a good meal

Sad? A Click Flick, Funeral, Other people crying, writer’s block

Angry? When others ruin stuff, stupidity, petty fighting, getting yelled at for something you had no idea about

What do you enjoy? Music, writing, baking, ghost hunting

  1. What do you look for in a mate? In a Friend?

Well, first of all I think your mate should be your one of your best friends so I look for the same qualities in both: Loyalty, Humor, Intimate, Someone who I can relate to; someone who would accept for me who I am (not try to change me); Supportive, encouraging, Intelligent, Creative, Spiritual (not religious or stuck on church . . . if they are that they don’t push me to go) Fun, and Spontaneous

  1. What are some of your beliefs?

I believe in God: divided by two-the God (logical, base it on facts and science, computer programming) and the Goddess (Nurturing, caring, creative, the artist, socially and artistically connected to the computers). I feel I can talk to the Goddess easier as God wants just the facts to solve the problem or to stop and allow us to solve our own problems. The Goddess is like the mother who would hold you after you fall and hurt your knee.

I also believe in Tarot, Astrology, Palm reading, and other things in the New Age beliefs.

I am a part Christian, and a part Pagan: I enjoy learning of my past lives and the occult.

  1. What are your fears?

My fears are driving, heights, rejections, failure, and always being in debt. (I am also nervous when thinking about negative effects of changes and success getting to my head. I always think worst case scenario first. . . I try not to, but it sometimes hard to be positive all of the time.)

  1. Do you like or dislike change? Why?

I like change for the most part; however, the thing that makes me nervous about change is that you don’t know if things are changing for the better or for the worst until after it happens. I like change, because I don’t like doing the same thing everyday.

  1. What are your talents?

I feel my talents are music: vocals, a little piano, and writing: especially story telling (My grammar and spelling are horrible, but enjoy telling a good story.) I can also sing, play piano, write songs and poetry as well bake pretty well.

  1. What do you do for a living? Do you enjoy it? What do you want to do for a living?

Currently in the month of March I am baby-sitter (I am just happy to help out.) I want to be a writer: make money telling and sharing my stories. I would love to make money doing what I love to do, and enjoying every minute of it.

  1. What is your greatest treasure and/or possession?

On my person, I would have to say my eyes, my ears and my thumbs. Overall, Tom, my computer, soda, music, pen, and paper.

  1. What is life to you?

Life, to me, is experiencing everything you can and telling people about it so they can try it too.

  1. If you could change one thing about you what is it and why?

I would change my weight and shape of certain body parts: I don’t like the my double chin and the weight on my stomach-I want to tighten both of those.  I wouldn’t mind being 20/20 vision and being more flexible either.

  1. Where have you travelled? Where else would you like to go?

I have been to Virginia Beach, VA; Miami, FL; Indianapolis, IN; Laurmie, WY; Cleveland, Oh; Columbus, OH; Puerto Rico; St Thomas, and the bus terminal in Chicago.

I would like to travel to Italy: Rome, Venice, Sicily, Verona; France: Paris, Netherlands: Amsterdam; England: Liverpool, and London; Japan: Tokyo; Germany: Berlin, Chez Republic Other Cities: New Orleans, Los Vegas, LA, NYC, Seattle, Chicago, Orlando and any where else my book tour will take me.

  1. What is the most vivid memory of your past?

I remember summer evenings over my Grandma Pat’s house. . . eating a popsicle after dinner as the sun comes in the front windows and there was a warm stream of light that hits us as we watch TV.

I also enjoyed her shady back yard with nice summer breeze just dancing among the top of the trees. It was just so peaceful.

  1. Why do you get up in the morning (or night if you are a night person)?

Well, lately it was because I have two little munchkins to watch. However normally I got up, because I always believe that today is better than yesterday and tomorrow is even better than today. (I also like days when I get to shopping.)
