Listening to the Wind: My Spiritual Beliefs

Jan 30, 2009 07:32

I really would like some pagan, Wicca, spiritual friends. I have met a few people into Wicca, but they are way too logical with the beliefs. I just wish find some more people out there like me. I mean it's a big world. I'm sure I can find somebody. (I am a positive dreamer who is spiritual in my own way. I am not into smoking or drugs.)

I am more spiritual myself as I believe in Higher Beings (Some call it the Holy Trinity or God, Goddess, Spirits etc).

I believe in mediation, prayer (different than what Christians believe), and past lives. (I believe I did see Christ death in a past life, as well as been to Gettysburgand so much more.)

I am into candles: the power of the color and flame.
I like to say what I call prayers (some may call them spells) with candles as they are a physical presence of the spiritual essence.
(I am interest in candle magic and the power behind it.)
I do charge my candle with positive energy before praying.

I am into the power of positive thinking. (Negative thinking and negative people really bring me down. note: Some call realists as downers, but not all realists are bad, it just depends on how you tell reality. There are ways to describe a bad situation in a positive way.)

I do believe some of my horoscopes are accurate, but they are mostly for fun. My Zodiac Trinity is. . . Sun sign: Sagittarius, Moon Sign: Scorpio, and Ascendant: Libra. I think it explains a lot of my personality. (I love to travel, and could live out of a suit case. I love to learn. I have a dark side, and I am everyone's encouraging balance.)

I do believe in power of Karma. What comes around goes around. (If you want good to happen to you, do good to others.)

I also believe in the power of a good hug or bad remark. You have the power to make or break someone's day.

I believe in rules as they keep chaos in order.

My own ten commandments:
1 Do onto others as you want to you. Karma works in mysterious ways.
2 Learn to laugh at yourself
3 Smile at least once a day
4 Take time and enjoy things from a sunny day to a piece of chocolate cake
5 Food is not an enemy . . . it's an enjoyment
6 Don't be afraid to get dirty . . . play
7 Something's are just more fun in a group or a couple. (I referring to school)
8 Never try to stop learning: you're always a student
9 Never be afraid to make a mistake: it's a challenge for improvement
10 Live each day like it is your last, but face life like you're never going to die!

I think I am not as open to thing as I should be. I am constantly working on my openness.

I also think people should be treated equal. (If you are qualified for a job, regardless of your color or gender, you should be able to get the job.)

I do think people need to get heard not punished: usually a crime is an accident or a call for help. (If help doesn't work, then and only then they should be locked up, but they should be doing work not just lying around: Make it a punishment not a vacation with three lousy meal a day.)
