The Ides of March are Coming. . . Sighs
What is happening in March . . .
As most of you know in November I do something called NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), well March is NaNoEdMo (National Novel Editing Month). I wanted to be editing two completed novels, but as you can see that is not going to happen. I keep having dental problems and headaches. I understand I need to see a doctor, but most of them just send me to specialist I can't afford to even ask advice from, and antibiotics that give me more problems than I had to start with. (I'm just getting sick of getting headache when I try to write or read. I am getting things accomplished next month damn it!)
Anyway, I plan, fate willing, to edit my first book "The Whispering Path," and use my NaNo winner rewards of 5 copies copies of it after the edit. My mom wants a copy, my neighbor wants a copy (since the title picture is of her back yard) and I'm sure once I tweak it my dad will want a copy. It has some religious issues, but I plan to stretch it out and mellow it down. (Tom is pissed off, because he likes my edgy anger towards those who are intolerant of other's spirituality and the paranormal.)
I will also be editing several of my other short stories as well as whatever else I can. I think I want to publish some of my poetry books; maybe making them e-books on Amazon. I'm not sure yet. (I know my mom would get a copy.)
I have two large paintings to work on as well. (Canvas 18x24)
- February painting: it inspired by a piece I saw once before that sold for 10 grand. Sensual vision of a thigh covering a sexual act; I think I am calling it “Behind Voluptuous Flesh.”
- March painting: it’s based off this vampire I keep dreaming and day dreaming about. It will be him sitting on his own grave. I will call it “Life and Death”
I have nine pieces I want to edit this month with majority of the time spent on NaNoWriMo 2010 novel called “The Whispering Path.” I will post lists of my works that needs edited and finished.
I got on NaNoEdMo and less than a day before the month of editing it still seems pretty dead. (http://www.NaNoEdMo.net) at least that is the page I got from NaNoWriMo site.

Okay, I know I am not the only who doesn't like editing, but this page isn't as organized (for the lack of a better word) or as lively as NaNoWriMo. It makes me wonder if I am on the right page. I feel like I have fallen into an Internet wormhole and now I'm one of maybe twenty people. There are barely any essays or videos on encouraging yourself or local groups.
I love the creative process of writing, but I know I have horrible grammar and I'm not going to get started with my writing, so I personally know I NEED this month. (I also appreciate it being a month that isn't warm and sunny, where I can get distracted by wanting to go out.) I am a story-teller first, writer second and editor 1,089,088 (LOL). I just thought there would be more people. Please message me if you are out there. (So I know I'm not alone.)
Someone said that they got hacked; which worries me. Who would want to hack an editing site? It is a non-profit site that only uses donations to keep the site running. In fact I’m going to do a three minute rant: Hacker, Virus Makers and Selling Bots. ..
It doesn’t make sense to hack sites like NaNoEdMo; what is the point? There is no money and what did they do you, reject you, ignore you, say that your writing needed editing? Karma will find you and it will kick you in the ass.
As for those who make virus, you are selfish, rude, and just plain fucked up. . . sure you are trying to get back at a roommate for their prank or pissing off an ex, but do you think about how fast a virus can spread from on computer to another? No, you were just thinking of revenge or anger and not realizing that the other students and people who are trying to be productive with their lives might actually be burdened that that damn virus you created.
Selling bots, stop getting on every chat room, every e-mail and every forum or blog site trying to get people to click on whatever site you are selling as 90% of it pointless or porn. For those who made the bots may you piss off the person who made the damn viruses in the first place, because I am getting sick of both of you.
Okay I am done, I think for now anyways.
