Things that I have learned in 2011
- I know I would miss Tom if he was gone.
- A bro will always say: “Bros before hoes,” until they get hoe of their own.
- It is okay to sleep. The body needs sleep. 8 hours is usually good for me.
- It is okay to dream. It fuels the imagination.
- I can do anything that I put my mind to: (NaNoWriMo 2010 and 2011. I have a proof copy to prove it.)
- I am a writer. (Grammar is still my enemy.)
- I am a story-teller. (I’m still figuring just how good I am.)
- I can overcome my non sense and trivial fears and live a little. (I jumped on a trampoline for the first time in many years; it was so much fun.)
- It’s okay to be a kid once and while as long as the bills are paid.
- “I have a headache” is not excuse for not having sex (only extreme migraines count) but sex can cure a stress headache; it’s been scientifically proven.(Chances are if a woman uses the headache excuse she isn’t feeling sexual or she isn’t attracted. I did research for one of my stories.)
- Facebook is more of distraction than a tool. (However it does help me with my writing sprints.)
- Lobster is chewy over cooked.
- Vitamins really work and give me energy.
- Karma is twisted and complicated: it’s not a simple system of positive and negative points that you can cash out at your convenience. It works on it’s time; it can also be a bitch.
- Tom’s family is chaotic and unpredictable, because just when I thought I fit in; they throw me a curve ball.
- People really should come with detailed warnings.
- Being sick isn’t as bad as it can be; it’s really mind over matter and allowing yourself to rest.
- I need to keep a distance between helping others; it can drain and overwhelm me.
- I realize that breathing out of my nose is a really good thing; and I some how lose appreciation for it until I get a cold.
- This damn cold is really blocked my thinking.
- I really love Sims.
- I really enjoy reading Tarot cards and palms.
- I think there are more rude people than nice these days, the worst part is it’s hard to tell who is who anymore.
- I love lists . . . they make life that much more organized.
- 2012 is going to be that much bigger than 2011.
