October Writing Challenge Day 11
I am fighting a damn virus. I was really exhausted last night. . . I am so tired of being tired. My left side hurt like it when I had mono . . . it hurt to breath which sucked. I know I should go to the hospital, but I don’t feel like getting poked and lectured by a doctor who can care less if I am there or not as long as they get paid, and once they see I have no insurance I instantly get treated like shit. Then once they take the blood (a horrible ten minutes of playing with my rolling veins and popping at least one of them, it’s happened more than once.) Then they will send me to a specialist I cannot afford so I can’t go.
I know have spleen problems and a high liver count (I am not a drinker, the last time I had alcohol was June and my left side killed me the day after.) They should have taken my spleen out when I first had mono in 2007.
