Front Page
First of all, there has been a lot that has happened . . . this the first time I have had my computer working at all in a week and working correctly in months . . . it feels great.
Our computer was a paperweight since last Saturday as I turned it off after my virus protector told me that it blocked a virus. Then I turned it on a few hours later only to have it a blank screen. I would have written these few blogs already if it was working right.
I wanted to go to the library all week, but the weather was horrible. It was cold, rainy, or both. (It’s a mile walk from our apartment to the library which I hope to do on a weekly basis when spring comes.)
Health News
I am finally feeling better from my horrible cold and then I had to dust so sinus problems are only going to get worst because of spring.
I am so looking forward to spring: flowers, warm breezes, sunny days, BBQ’s, going for more walks. I have been having problems with my thighs and calves. I keep getting frequent Charlie-horses and sometime my calves will tense up so hard they feel like stone, but this mostly happens in the winter . . . I wonder if the cold can cause blood and muscle problems and if so what should I do about it. (I went to store with Tom to pick up a few groceries one time while the temperatures were under 32 degrees and my legs stiffen up. . . I felt like the tin man from the Wizard of Oz before he got oiled. ) I wonder if my feet are not getting enough support and I need an arch in my shoes.
Writing and Arts
I was happy to know that my awesome computer guy was able to save my 12,000 words . . . I thought I lost them. I am still working on my NaNoWriMo 2010 as I am determined to finish, edit and publish before June 30 or Createspace.com will not send me a copy for free.
I just thought the computer and my health were just other things that were giving me trouble, but I will pull through with my book in my hand . . . published. I’m not giving up that easy.
I have pushed back all the projects I want to start until I finish NaNoWriMo 2010.
Local Fun
Tom and I went out to Apple-Bees for St. Patty’s Day. (Yes, we both wore green.) It was 65 degrees out and we had the coolest waitress. She was sweet, super friendly and she didn’t charge Tom for his drink. Whatever happened to decent service like that?
Dear Me
Dear Me,
Why are you so into Sims 3 for X-box 360? You are wasting so much time when you could be writing. . . Work on your writing! You will get published, but not if you waste your time on Sims 3. Write!

Laughter is the best medicine
I love this joke and it kind of reminds me of my father as he is going through a nasty divorce right now. . .
There was a man who was just down and out on his luck and of course it was because of his female lover. She was just making his life a living hell, so one day he left her, and obviously she made his life worst. He was walking along the beach one morning thinking over his life decisions as he came across a lamp. He rubbed it as a Genie appeared.
“Hello I am the great Genie of the lamp and I can grant you three wishes, but I was cursed, so whatever you wish for your current enemy will receive double.” The great Genie explained.
The man thought as he said:
“I would like a huge mansion and a million dollars.”
“Your enemy will receive two mansions and two million dollars.” The genie stated as the man thought of his ex-lover having two mansions and lots of money. . . he was a bit angry.
“I would like my favorite sports car.”
“Granted . . . now your enemies will have two of your favorite sport cars.” The idea of that bitch having two of his favorite cars made him livid, especially after she wrecked his current car.
“I know my last wish.” The man stated with an evil grin.
“And it is. . .” the genie was curious.
“I would like to be beaten half to death.”
(I don’t wish ill to anyone, but the joke just makes me laugh.)
