Kit-Kat Kitty Kat

I am currently sitting here, hoping not to get heartburn from the instant mocha I had. I haven’t coffee in months. I should be working on my novel, but my brain is barely allowing me to focus on this blog.

In May, Tom and I saved enough money that we were about to get Mona spayed, which was one step to getting her to the apartment. However ever since May, Mona has been very listless, and worst than when she was heat. Over the pass few weeks, she has figured out how to tear through my mom’s screen on her window and get outside. Mona keeps sneaking out even after my mom tapes up the window. I have told mom that “if she keeps getting out, then just make sure her tags are on her.” It just bugs me that we paid 70 dollars for her to get spayed and her shots and now she wants to be outdoors instead of cuddly and inside. I am worried about her being outside with wild animals like raccoons.

However Talbot is very cuddly and he’ll lie on your chest and purr in your ear. Tom and I are thinking maybe we should save 50 and get Talbot neutered and his shots and bring him instead.

I love Mona, and she always comes to me whenever I am over, but Talbot cuddles with both Tom and I. Things are just really move to Talbot as he just seems easier to take care of. It will only cost us 50 dollars to get him neutered and his shots. However I think Tom’s apartment also wants him declawed, I am personally against harming a cat just so the apartment can keep their white walls untouched. I found these covers for the cats’ claws and they do not harm the cat. They are made of rubber so the cat can’t scratch anything while they are on. However Pet Smart has them for almost 15 dollars. I wonder if I can find them cheaper. (I’ll have to check Wal-mart and Amazon.comà That is very weird as they are about the same price.)

I really should go lie down for a few hours; it should help my mind to be refreshed. I do miss my cats and I hope they are doing okay. Now I want a kit-kat; any chocolate sounds good.
