online dating
i know i'm older than i was the last time i did the online dating thing... only a couple years older though. i don't think i look THAT old.
except.... that my hair is 1/2 an inch to maybe 2 inches all over my head.
it must make me look really shitty because since i joined match.com a week or so ago, only 4 people have even LOOKED at my profile. in the past, i had tons more desperate pathetic dudes ( ;-) ) looking at it.
i mean granted,i can see how i kind of look like a fucking soccer mom with this hair, but good god. it's HAIR.
so i want to do one of two things:
1. change the headline on my profile to "yeah i do have short hair - got a problem with that?" or some more creative snide comment.
2. change my pictures to long-haired ones (from the past year, so i don't inadvertently look really young) and see how many people view my profile then.
in all honesty, i'm sad. sad that men can't look past a woman's hair. sad that i cut it (i used to be happy i cut it but now it seems like a detriment). sad that it will take at least a year to even make it past my chin.
