here's a short story for ya
It's basically official - I sold my house. The buyer is being very nit-picky about getting some things fixed, and I have to have a little roof work done AND install a "radon remediation system." In other words, another $1,400 or so beyond the $1,150 for the floors and $750 for painting. God, my credit card company loves me. I HATE charging it all, but I have no choice. The first thing I'm doing when I get my ever-shrinking check at settlement is pay a big chunk out of my credit card debt.
