On Saturday, after a blustery rowing practice, I biked up to the Troy Farmer's Market. The week before, my friend R had brought me some apricots, peaches, and blueberries from the market, and that was enough to convince me that I needed to go myself and get a few things.
The trip did not disappoint.
Not only did I get more apricots, peaches, and blueberries, I also found...fresh tart cherries!

Since I bought that bottle of Luxardo last year I definitely need to make some Luxardo maraschino cherries now.
Raspberries, too.
The raspberries got a bit squished on the ride home, but were still in good enough shape for baking and eating.
E.g. raspberry buttermilk cake:

Delicious on ice cream and with yogurt, too.
It is also Cheesy Toast season, which always makes me think of the other R and how much cheesy toast we ate while living in the Farmer House.

I am still eating my fair share of beans, though.
We have finally run out of the 25-pound bag of black beans we bought when living in Arizona in 2018. Here's the very last batch just before soaking and cooking.

I am going to miss the neverending bean supply.
