At this point, I am jumping around with no rhyme or reason to these posts. I find that when I take photographs, I know instinctively which ones are going to be winners and which ones I will have to consider for quite some time, tweak, agonize over, and maybe eventually post. When I’m going through my photographs, I tend to jump first to the ones that I know are good and then second to the ones that may be hidden gems (or - and more likely - fodder for the recycle bin). If you have ever been to Spain and you’ve skipped Basque Country, you are seriously missing out. It is different from the other portions of Spain that I visited in culture, landscape and cuisine. As the signs read when I was there - “Tourists, you are not in France, you are not in Spain, you are in Basque Country”.

I found this little girl adorable, despite myself. Note that one shoe is zipped and the other is not. I mean, you can’t even stage this kind of stuff.
