Really really hot!
It's is soooo hot today!! A high of 97 with 41% humidity! Crazy!! I walked down to The Hairquarters over my lunch break and I thought I was going to evaporate by the time I got down there. I'm really going to miss Hairquarters and Etta when I'm in VA. Ok, I know that just seems so absolutely ridiculous, but seriously. She is perfect at doing my eyebrows and cutting my hair and it's so cheap even I can afford it! The last time I went down there she washed and cut and styled my hair and only charged me for a trim. See, she's just great. Anyways, tomorrow it's calling for scattered thunderstorms. No big deal, right? No! I'm supposed to move tomorrow. I checked weather.com and it's calling for the rain between 12-3 so I figure that maybe I can get all my clothes and shoes and bed stuff over there before 12 and I can spend the 3 "rain hours" un-packing that stuff into my new room. Then I'll get as much more stuff over there as possible before I have to get ready for work at 5. Oh, and Di is coming tomorrow. Yay!! I'm sure there will be many fun times to be had this week-end. We're going to be helping Raven and Marv watch the grandkids because they have them for the whole week-end.
Last night Becky and I finally had our faux "Sex and the City date". I called her at 10 and we watched SatC just like last semester. I really want to figure out how to do conference calls cause then me, Becky and Di can all watch it together and then it'll really be like last semester.
Tonight is going to need to be spent packing things up to get moved over to Sass on Friday and Saturday. I have a bunch of boxes from work, so that'll be helpful. It's the last night in the room so Katie and I are probably going to have that wine she brought back from Paris and watch Friends and pack all night.
Well, I've got to get back to work. The billings and personnel files are waiting for me.
P.S. I feel right now as though it's time for a Music Dept. party . . . I don't know why, I just do :oP
