My husband is full of awesome
We have a regular Wednesday night gaming crew, referred to as GOHoW (Games Often Happen on Wednesdays), with which we play an assortment of role-playing and other games. Who runs the game depends on who has something prepared. It's a good mix of people, and fun is always had. Over the last several weeks, Nik ran an absolutely amazing game of his own devising. It was a loose structure (no stats in the traditional D&D sense), which gave our characters room to grow in interesting ways. He borrowed a bit from Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy (ooh! book three comes out in October!), and wove elements of that story seamlessly into his own. Last night was the climactic ending and it was amazing.
