Gin-mopolitan

The other night, I wanted a cosmopolitan, but I lack lemon-flavored vodka. I have cranberry Stolichnaya, which is lovely, but I felt something was missing. The flavor needed to be... pointier. Gin was the answer. It worked equally well with Bombay Sapphire and with Magellan.

1 ounce gin
1 ounce cranberry vodka
1 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce pure cranberry juice
juice of ½ lime

Shake & strain into cocktail glasses. Makes two smallish cocktails, or one very large one.
