Ugh. I hate being sick. And I haven't shaken this strange cold/cough/fever thing for like six weeks. I did, however, finally go to the doctor today. The "doc farm" as I affectionately call it. While I am SO thankful I found a reliable place in New York where I can get a same day appointment when I'm sick (thats even relatively on time), I hate the assembly line aspect. The internist who saw me was cold, did not discuss much, and spent all of 4 minutes with me. Churn them through I suppose. Sometimes I wish I didn't need to go to said doctor when I KNOW all I need is a ZPack (a quick 5 day round of antibiotics). If it wasn't for my fear of doctors in general and my hate for the doc farm as well as the upper east side (ok...65th and 2nd ave) I would have gone a long time ago and would have been able to actually experience much more of my life over the past month instead of sleeping and trying to work a losing battle at not being sick. Like so much so that I spend my weekends in bed, truly unable to do much else than watch movies (a trip to costco on saturday left me exhausted and feverish. I had to take a 4 hour nap and a shower.)

I am so excited to be a "normal" person again!

Also, I found a chiropractor thats covered under my insurance. Yippeeee!
