I still like posting these every year. I hate that I missed one month this year, but oh well.

Last year, Sara and I didn’t watch Speed on New Year’s Eve like we usually do.

My area is currently in the middle of a really bad winter weather system.

Things at my job have shifted a bit recently.

Sometimes I really hate my family.

This week marks two years at this address and eight years since Sara and I moved to this city.

I let all of June slip by without an update to this journal, but I don’t want to do that for July, so here I am on the last day of the month!

Sara and I drove down to visit Athena and her kids today.

It's raining much too hard right now, and heavy rains usually get me freaking out about the roof/gutters, so let's see if I can write something to distract myself.

Our Chicago vacation got off to a little bit of bumpy start this morning.

Halloween fell on a really nice, warm day this year.

Winter is a bad season for my sleeping, but usually, it doesn't hit me until January.
