Thankful Thursday: Cold weather edition.

I've complained before about how much I hate winter. I said it to the Why-Asker recently, and she jumped down my throat harping about how it wasn't winter yet, winter didn't start until the solstice, blah blah blah. Fun. But I don't want to make it seem like it's all bad, so here's a list of a few things that I've been enjoying this winter:

~ The butter that my mom left at my house after Thanksgiving. She did this last year, and I enjoyed it then, too. She buys this fancy canola oil butter that I'm too cheap for. It's so tasty that I ate an entire baked potato just with butter and no sour cream (which I usually shovel on).

~ Mom also bought me a really nice pair of stretchy, soft black pants for Hanukkah this year. They're as comfy as pajama pants, but since they're not covered in snowflakes and polar bears like those are, they're also nice enough to wear out if I need to.

~ Sitting in my car during my lunch breaks. This is one of my favorite things to do on a sunny, cold day. I park my car in a sunny spot, and by lunch, it has gotten nice and toasty inside. Getting into it is like stepping into the most delicious warmth. It has made me late coming back from my lunch breaks more than once already.

P.S. Thankful Thursday: Cold weather edition, 2013.
