On an airplane somewhere between Louisiana and France...
I'm on the plane now, waiting for takeoff. This plane is a lot bigger than the last one and seems less crowded. More empty seats.
The Philadelphia airport was so nice. It had so many different stores and restaurants. It had the eggshell-shaped chairs like most airports, but it also had a lot of rocking chairs for you to sit in. Rocking chairs! There was also a sculpture of the various birds native to the state and a big wall of posters of movies filmed there. Some of the Rocky films and some of M. Night Shyamalan's movies.
But the best thing was that I saw a fellow French major from my college boarding boarding this same plane. Thomas from Prof. Y-----'s class. I remember him saying he was doing this assistant program, too. I don't know where he is now on this big plane, but it was nice to see a familiar face.
