Oscars Weekend 2017: And now we wait...
Greetings from our sparkling-clean apartment! Yesterday, Sara rode home with me from work, and as soon as we got home, we started cleaning the place up majorly, from top to bottom. We scrubbed the bathtub, sink, and toilet. I cleaned and organized my room, vaccuumed the floor, changed the sheets, and made my bed. We swept and sprayed almost every single surface.
I wanted to get all the cleaning done yesterday so that I could take a nap this evening. Athena and Abram's flight was supposed to land tonight around 11pm, but United just kept pushing it back, first to 1am, then again just now, to 11am tomorrow. UGH! I hate missing out on time with them, and I hate thinking of Athena having to deal with delays and getting around the airport by herself with the baby. I almost cried when I heard the news. Fortunately, I requested off from work, so we'll still be able to pick them up tomorrow. I just hope I don't wake up to find out that United has delayed their flight even more! I guess "never fly United" will be the lesson of Oscar Weekend 2017.
