Rebecca feels laziest when she has the most to do!

I should be packing, but instead I'm rewatching Les Miserables with Tovah. I can't help it! A cold front blew in last night, and this weather just makes me want to stay inside and watch a good movie. Until today, I'd ridden my bike to work every day this week, trying to save on money and gas so our move doesn't put us in the red. There's still a lot left to do, but I have put a little dent in my packing. I already have big piles of stuff to bring to the recycling truck and donate to my temple and to Goodwill.

Anyway, back to Les Mis. Lately I've started seeing promos for Hugh Jackman's new movie The Wolverine. It's so weird to know that the same actor plays Wolverine and Valjean, because they're such completely different looks. Then, in a moment in the first X-Men movie, I saw the resemblance:

Anna Paquin as Rogue & Hugh Jackman as Wolverine on a train, X-Men (2000)

Isabelle Allen as Cosette & Hugh Jackman as Valjean in a horse carriage, Les Miserables (2012)

What talent.

On the art calendar, I'm looking at Boy in a Striped Sweater, a 1918 oil-painting by Amedeo Modigliani. Our detail is only of the boy's face, and I'll admit, at first glance, I thought he looked a lot like Butthead from Beavis and Butthead (which I never watched!).

les miserables, x-men
