Camping...gotta love it!
So this weekend ...Friday - Sunday...dad and I went and camped out at Tishamingo State Park...which is way up in the North East corner of Mississippi...5 miles from the Alabama state line. It's really pretty up there because you are up in the foothills of the Mountains.
Anywho..well the new issue is that my dad has a "female friend". Now most folks are like "that's great...!"...however I have had my dad to myself for 20 years...since my parents were divorced when I was 5. And I am an only child and I realize I am being selfish...but I don't want to have to share his time or attention with anyone...He's my daddy. But I realize I have no control over this so I just have to soak up his time while I can..and if he should end up marrying this woman...I'm going to have to like her. I don't like change...not change like this, but then again, I don't want him growing old alone...it just sort of hurts. But right now they are just friends...but you never know.
Anywho...back to this weekend. We played frisbee golf...did some hiking...got rained on...it was good times. It was sort of weird though because last November I came up here with the peeps...and we stayed in the same spot. I'm trying not to compare the two times...because they were both exciting in their own way. Yeah.
Well I just paid bills again...and again...I'm broke...It will get better soon I hope.
