Busy, busy, busy

On December 14, the San Diego Costumer's Guild will be touring Old Town San Deigo. I've been told we don't have to have costumes but both vagabond_aero and I want to make outfits. So, this is what we've been doing over the last two weeks.

Went onto the Farthingales site and order the following patterns.

Laughing Moon 103

I already had the Truly Victorian 294 because I made my gold silk skirt with it....

I'll also be making another corset to go underneath along with a chemise and drawers and maybe even an underskirt.

For vagabond_aero, he wanted an under the bust corset to smooth the line of the clothing so we're making him one of these.

Then we have the rest of the outfit....

My outfit will be made out of the same lightweight wool as my wedding dress. vagabond_aero will be made out of a pinstripe lightweight gray wool for the pants, a darker gray lightweight wool for the jacket, a light blue strip shirting material for the shirt, and a blue bamboo chinese silk pattern for the vest. So, we have our work cut out for us in the next two weeks....
