Dad
Well my dad got in today from Venice which was cool. But I hate sharing him. Correction- I hate sharing him with people I don't like. I'm sure you can take a very good guess at who that person is. We were just hanging out, you know having our bonding moments moving things around and putting the bed frames and stuff together for the guests coming tonight and of course every time Maggie would come in and just plop down. She would literally follow us around. Like if we went to go get something she'd come too. I don't think she's doing it on purpose, but... I dunno maybe she is...
Eww and little things. I feel like we're in a power struggle. Like my eyes have been bothering me lately, and so I've been keeping the lights on when I watch t.v. and stuff. So I was just chillin watchin the t.v. and she comes in the living room and is like, "It'd be cooler in here with the lights off." And just flicks one of them off. So fine, I leave it, I don't want to start drama. So I go into the kitchen later for a drink and come back out and she flicked the rest of the lights off. So I turn some of them back on. Grrr...
Oh! Do you know what she did Wednesday night? She was introducing me to one of the little girls I was babysitting (kids=gross), and she introduced me as...her DAUGHTER. Are you kidding me?! I'm sure it was for simplicity's sake but please!! NEVER. NEEEVVERRR introduce me as your daughter!! Ugh!!
Anyway, so we went to dinner tonight at some nice restaurant, ate outside. I had this rice thing with mushrooms, it was pretty good. There was this cute waiter, with earrings so you know he was kinda rockish. We sat out right outside the door so I got to see him everything he came out. Yeah, we made eye contact a few times but that was about it, lol.
Then we had some gelatto for dessert- mine was chocolate with nuts, it was good.
Oh! Today I watched Last Holiday. You know- with Queen Latifah, where she's told she's gonna die within 3 or 4 weeks. She made a really good point- life is too short to be scared. To walk around with your head down and shy and all that stuff- too short! She's right!! I wish I could say I'm going to follow that, because it's likely I won't, but I'm going to try!!
Oh! Around 4:35'ish I went "exploring" a little bit and found the park. It was really nice!! I mean it's like you're in the middle of the city and then there's this little forest haven. Lots of people with their dogs, and lots of different trails in the open and through the trees and stuff. Very romantic for the lovers. For those of the more brutish nature, it is also conceivably a very good place for a rape. Not that I would want that to happen to anyone!! But I mean at night...Anyway. I'm going to try and get pictures.
Tomorrow early in the morning :( me and my dad are going to the market. I've been before but that'll be interesting still. And I might attempt to find the Spanish Steps again, because I failed in my last attempt.
