You're never really owning what you're buying, but merely renting it for an indetermined amount of time (unless you de-DRM your stuff), while the prices are the same as for actual print books. It doesn't even have to be such an unfair treatment as in the case of the article, but what about when the company you bought from loses interest in that technology (maybe because there's something new and shinier), or simply ceases to exist?
