I built a frame out of some old scrap wood for one of the raised beds in my garden. I'm so proud of it every time I walk by - I hadn't realized what a huge difference the frame would make compared to just heaped up soil. It keeps the dirt from getting all over the patio, which is quite nice. I have enough wood to make several more. :-)

We had veggie dogs for lunch today, and I put homemade ketchup on Iris's. She licked it off and asked for "more dog strawberry jam".

I bought some Children's Tylenol at Walgreens today, and the pricing was just bizarre:
Regular price: $7.49 / bottle
Sale price: $4.99 / bottle
Store coupon in the Walgreens rebate booklet: $1.50 off / bottle (so $3.49 / bottle)
Manufacturer's coupon from the newspaper a few weekends ago: $3 off / 3 bottles (so $2.49 / bottle)
And a $5 off your next purchase at Walgreen's coupon prints out when you buy 3 bottles (so like paying $0.82 per bottle)
So, I bought 3, since I could get 3 for $2.47, and a single bottle would have cost $3.49. I'm optimistic that Iris won't need 3 bottles of it in the next year (although there are definitely teeth and likely fevers to come). Would anyone with a 2-11 year olds like a bottle of it?

We're going on our first date in almost 2 years tomorrow night. Ben's aunt will be watching Iris for a few hours while we have dinner at Millennium to celebrate 4 years together.

Sleeping through the night has occurred 3 out of the past 4 nights now. W00t! (The one night it didn't was very loud and unhappy for about half an hour. Iris didn't want to hear stories or snuggle, and I didn't want to nurse her. Trying to wean a kid who can argue about it is tough.)
