hmm, where to start?
Since January I have been living and working in a brothel.
During this time I have managed to support a $200 a day heroin habit, and earn enough for day to day living expenses.
On the first of July I started 'the program', which has changed my heroin dependency to a subbutex one. Subbutex, aka buprenorphine, is the latest method of getting addicts from one [illegal] drug to another [legal] one.
But it looks like I will be able to be off this and clean in about 6 weeks, methadone took over a year.
Is this the end of my heroin use? No, but it is the end of my being addicted.
I am homeless, although I am staying with a friend for 2 weeks, then off to a boarding house, and then trust housing. I am also classed as having a disability that will prevent me from working, so I am a disabled pensioner. yay
I am single - sort of. I met this guy while I was working, he became a regular and used to see me once a week for 5 or 6 hours. We talked about getting involved, and I am seriously considering it.
The only downside is that he is loaded, really loaded by SA standards. I don't like rich guys usually - but this one is very cool.
I may actually update this more than once in the next week or so.
