Just had to get that out of my system. :D
In other news, I’ve finally finished Season 1 of Torchwood. People seem to get shot a lot in that show (I don’t think it’s quite as bad as Misfits with regards to deaths per episode, but it’s certainly up there). I have so much love for Tosh, Owen and Jack. And Ianto, even though I still can’t quite work out what his job is. Badass coffee maker? Secretary with a gun? Jack’s pleasure slave? IDEK.
And as for Merlin, I have four things to say:
1) The results of the poll suggest that Bradley and Colin win over Arthur and Merlin. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is because they’re actually, you know, real people. And I think that Team Merlin/Colin has more support than Team Bradley/Arthur. Which is sad, because despite the fact that I make cruel polls forcing you all to pick sides (or dodge sneakily around such decisions), I actually do like them both equally.
2) I SERIOUSLY DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO. Should I wait for Season 3 to come on TV and have all that delightful anticipation between episodes, or should I just make a marathon of it and watch the whole season in a ridiculously short amount of time and end up half-comatose from all the pretty? I’m bad with decision-making, and this is a Very Important Decision. I NEED GUIDANCE, PEOPLE!! :D
3) Also, I have a 7K M/A WIP on KMM that I’m planning to finish today, and it desperately needs beta-ing before it becomes journal-worthy. Mainly because I get all my writing brainwaves at two in the morning, which leaves me with a half-decent plot weighed down by terrible incomprehensible rubbishy sentences. Is there anyone interested in looking over it at some point? :)
4) Signups for the Big Bang open very soon, and I’m so there. I haven’t written anything that big before, so it’s a little scary. BUT ALSO VERY EXCITING. Who else is doing it too?
