I watched Monty Python last night. I now have the urge to go and search all over the internet for Monty Python/Merlin icons. I’ve seen some about, and they are all kinds of wonderful.

Somehow I doubt this sort of thing will be appearing in Merlin any time soon, though.

In other news, I’ve answered five questions from slightlytookish  (and if anyone wants questions from me, let me know):

1.   Who is your favourite knight?
Apart from Arthur (because I mean, it’s Arthur, you can’t beat that) I’d have to say Leon. Mainly because I haven’t yet watched the third season (I know, I know, that’s terrible) and so I haven’t actually seen half of the new knights in action. I’m excited for Gwaine, though. Gwaine and his swishy hair.

2.  If you could have any costume or prop from the show, what would it be?
Does Merlin count as a prop? If he stands really still? :D
But seriously, it’s probably a tie between one of Morgana’s costumes and Excalibur. Morgana’s costumes because they’re pretty and I like pretty things, and Excalibur because that is one badass sword.

3.  The Doctor appears in Camelot looking for a new companion. Who do you think is the best choice?
Hmm. Much as I’d like to say Merlin (because I do love David Tennant and Colin Morgan together) I think that 1) he’d probably prefer a female companion, 2) Leaving Arthur without Merlin is totally not on, and 3) Based on the two seasons I’ve seen, Morgana seems to be a better choice. He’d probably need someone who accepted magic, or was magic themselves, and he’s so knowledgeable that he’d probably be able to help her work out her magic and what to do with it. Morgana seems lost, while the Doctor’s all alone, so they’d be able to help each other out. Plus, Morgana isn’t afraid of fighting, and she’d be doing a lot of that with the Doctor.

4.  What is your favourite book?
It varies, but at the moment Life of Pi by Yann Martel. It’s beautiful and engaging and takes an unusual idea - a boy, a tiger and a lifeboat - and makes it work.

5.  What does your username mean?
Ah, the moment of truth. It came about through a lot of keyboard smashing at around two in the morning and it worked, so I rolled with it. No, really. THERE IS NO DEEPER MEANING. *hides in shame*

And finally - you guys! Hawaii Five O starts really soon! I shouldn’t be as excited about it as I am, because I might not even like it, but there’s been a lot of flailing about it in my flist, and, well, I trust you guys to pick awesome things to flail about :D
