Yesterday...
First of all, I want to apologize to 2sick2pray for missing her incredible performance in bed last night... Er.... I mean on stage...
How's this for a day? First, I go to the doctor's and hear a bunch of negative, scary stuff about how my pregnancy could end up being ectopic or end up miscarriage or any number of other problems - which makes me so upset I knock Zip (my husband) off-kilter.
Then, I go to work and have a major project to do that causes the attorney to breathe down my neck constantly to see if I'm "doing it right."
Then, in the afternoon I call Zip and he says that I should try to get a ride with tazira to 2sick2pray's play because he'll be working late. So I try to call, but can't get through. Moving and unpacking ain't a lot of fun, huh, Tazira? :) So I call Zip back and tell him to just come home with the car when he can, and I'll get my mom to meet me at Metro and drive me home.
I leave at 6:00 (my normal time) and go to hop on the Metro - major delays. When the train finally comes 30 minutes later, it's completely stuffed to the gills with people, and I'm beginning to feel nauseated (yay, pregnancy!). I didn't end up getting to the Greenbelt Metro until about 7:30.
So I call Alan, figuring he's already home. Nope. He's stuck in traffic and is still at around 270!
So there I am. It's 7:30, freezing outside, feeling nauseated, haven't had any dinner, and most importantly - no car.
I'm so sorry I missed it, 2sick2pray!.... Please forgive me!
But I'll be there to watch nekkid men tonight!...
