Sometimes we see ourselves in someone else's reaction to us. I had one of those moments today. So, I think I am going to take a step back from one of the communities that I have been participating in lately. I tend to enjoy research and details. I think there are times I miss the obvious. I like to ask questions to make sure I get things correctly

I've had to do that on numerous occasions. Some places want actual discussions, some want only confirmation of their views/ideas/focus, others don't care about facts at all. So I - being like you, I guess, in that I like to know what's what - have to drop out, catch my breath, let off steam. Some communities I go back to after a respite, either deciding I need to chill out more or that I can live with the slight discordance; others I come to realize are just too incompatible with the way I prefer things and so I cross them off my list. Just a matter of deciding what you can deal with and what is just not worth it. :)

I understand and I hope you feel better soon. A hiatus is a good time to just get back to those things you like to do without having to worry about people being dumb. :)

It's with deep regret that I read your post. Your comments always provided pure, undiluted encouragement for me - and I'm sure that many others could say the same. It's my hope that you will re-add me as a friend someday, and that we'll still keep in touch. Until then I hope your plans come together with all due success.
