BREAKING NEWS
I got a letter today that my older daughter has gotten a full scholarship for her last year of college. This was a complete surprise. She was selected based upon her academic achievement and financial need. We are not clear on the process of selection since she did not apply for this scholarship. School starts in 10 days. Her dad (my ex-husband) will get a refund of the money he contributed. We were actually waiting on the rest of her financial aid package. Now we know why it was so late in coming. They must have known she was under consideration for this scholarship. This has been a very exciting day.
