It makes so much sense...
So I was talking to a friend here, Matt the sound designer, and he's been going thru some of the same things I have. Well this whole summer has been a real awakening to me, you know, like I'm a different person out here. Met so many new people, who a few months ago Ididn't even know and now I spend all my time with them. People from all walks of life, with all their different stories and how it seems like they are doing the same thing I am, putting my life on hold. That's what Matt said today that summed up this summer for me, it made so much sense. I had been trying to find a way to describe the way this summer has been to me, how all the stuff I'm doing and how I'm so far from everything I know. And if a few words he put it all in to perspective..."it's like my real life is on hold". Don't get me wrong, I miss everyone back home, all of you. But I know I'm going to feel the same about the people here, especially a select few, you know who you are. But it's wried...And I'm curious to see how things will be when everyone gets back to G-boro. It's going to be a great year! And of course, August 23....PARTY!
