so, took a trip to maine with the girlfriend (Rachel for the uninformed)and it seemed like she had fun. we relaxed at my parents place and stopped in portland briefly on the way back to DC. hopefully i can plan a longer trip next time, or visit my parents for less time and head up to rumfid to see brando, or portland or augusta (why did everyone scatter after i moved?! GAH!)
So, I didnt take the job at Gdub. um.. got a pay raise at work and they are installing an internet line so i can check the internet at night. my hours are changing back to the graveyard shift.. but i dont mind too much. dealing with people when im bored (which is often) makes me irritable.
hmm.. got into Max Brooks' new book, World War Z. So awesome. It's written as an oral history from survivors of the Great Zombie War. BOOYAH! It takes into account a LOT of factors in other countries and what their reactions would be. its pretty sweet. FYI Max Brooks is the dude who wrote the Ultimate Zombie Survival Guide. I believe someone told me he was Mel Brooks' son, which wouldnt surprise me, but I might need to double check that fact.
OH. almost forgot. any Incubus fans who read this, check out their new album Light Grenades. It's good (god I love the name). I don't think the songs really run together well in the album, but the songs are good and.. well... it's Incubus(Synonym: Awesome)
