fruit party
My Botany teacher, Dr. Catherine Lagunzad, says that tomorrow we're going to have a Fruit Party. A Fruit Party. Seriously. And am I the only one who considers it hella cute that the President of the Biology Teachers Association of the Philippines, Inc. sings for the birthday celebrants in her class and has a plant dance? Damn, I love that woman. I hope I have her vibrant outlook on life when I'm that age.
Anyway, earlier this semester, she taught us that women prefer the scent of men with genes somewhat similar to their own over the scent of nearly genetically identical or totally dissimilar men. ("Sniff your boyfriend or girlfriend when they're not wearing their perfume, and only then can you tell whether you're meant to be!" said she.)
Let that be a lesson to all ye Valentine's day daters out there.
I, however, shall be submitting my papers and working like hell. Cheers!
