I'm preparing for my trip to LA tomorrow, and some things have struck about my progression this year as a traveling salesman. Firstly, I'm a pro at packing. What used to be an ordeal of "what to wear, what to wear..." has been totaly streamlined to what I know I will wear and what won't ever leave the suitcase. I was packed in thirty minutes, I shit you not. Also, the level of travel anxiety has severely decreased. This trip, I can tell I'm feeling a little bit more than usual since it's been a few months. I do feel a bit paranoid that I've forgotten something...but then I always feel that way.
What is most intersting, I think, is how anxious I feel to just get out there! I've been feeling a little cabin fever these last two weeks just knowing that I had this in store for me. I'm hoping for some decent weather, some time off to relax and enjoy the sun, and even get to see some family.
Future trips for pure pleasure: home (krisit's graduation!/family vacation to Mexico!), London (maybe...), San Francisco (if Talia & I ever actually plan it), and New York.
I LOVE frequent flyer miles!
